FAREWELL & THANKS
As Lee Hodgkinson moves to pastures new his statement below shows why he will be remembered fondly by supporters.

"I joined Bangor City in August under no misconception about the passion and desire that I must have playing in the Bangor City shirt.
I quickly learned of the true heart that each and every supporter has and the support they showed me from day one was fantastic.

I gave my everything in a Bangor City shirt. And I have a heavy heart in leaving.
SUPER DRAW

MORE PRIZES

Top of the agenda at the next meeting of the association 7th Dec 2006 will be the mid season super draw.

Our thanks go to Nigel and Vicky who have put a lot of work into the draw and ticket sales have been very good but we still need help in trying to top up the prizes to around 100, at the moment we have around 75.

We would be most grateful if anybody could contribute something to the draw, it could be anything from a selection box to a TV.

If anyone can help could you please bring any donation along to the meeting at 7.30pm on :

Thursday 7th December 2006
at the Regency Hotel
opposite Bangor Railway Station.

If you can't make it to the meeting but can contribute a prize then please contact a member of the Committee
A FOND FAREWELL

CLAYTON LEAVES BUT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN

Although perhaps inevitable, news that Clayton has left the club has been disappointing to hear.

Clayton has been a great servant to the club, has always given a 100% committment and consistently supported the work of BCFCSA so will always be remembered with respect and affection - Good luck in the future Clayts.
VC BLOG CHAPTER 2

Haven't been to a SA Meeting yet and wondered what they are like then why not take a look at how they are seen by our VC. The next chapter of the Vice Chairman's Blog is now available HERE
THANKS AGAIN

THANKS BRIAN

Many SA members will know Brian Pritchard but it is the measure of the man that few will be aware of the significant and consistent support that Brian has given to the association. Those who have followed the club for a long time may be aware of the assistance he has given the club over the decades in his own unassuming and modest way.

In recognition of his assistance to the SA Brian has been honoured as the first Life Member of the Association and is seen above receiving his award from Wales Manager John Toshack at the Sportsmen's Dinner.

THANKS

ANOTHER SUCCESS FOR BCFCSA

Thanks to the hard work of the "Four Amigos" BCFCSA's An Evening with John Toshack turned out to be a resounding success.
With another £2500 raised from the night's auction the SA has shown how effective it can be in raising resources for the club. The SA would like to thank all those who generously donated the items for auction.

Our sincere thanks also to Patrick and Paddy's Bar for it's generous sponsorship of the event and ongoing support for the work of the SA and to the hundreds who packed the PJ Hall.

After all their hard work it would be reasonable to expect those involved to take a well earned break but instead they have moved on to the next challenge - the SUPER DRAW, so get selling those tickets and make the next event another success.

CITY LEGEND TAKES ON UNITED
CONGRATULATIONS NIGEL

News that former City Manager, Nigel Adkins, is to take on the Caretaker Manager role at Scunthorpe United was warmly welcomed by City supporters.

SA Chairman Michael Ishmael contacted Nigel on behalf of BCFCSA to congratulate him on his appointment and was pleased that Nigel still had strong feelings for the club – “We talked about the past and present at Bangor. He is fully aware of the situation at Bangor and wishes everyone the best of luck for the future.”

SUPER DRAW TICKETS

TICKET SALES GOING WELL

It is unlikely that SA Members have matched Mash's sale of over 200 tickets but if like others you are finding sales going well then why not get in touch with Nigel and get hold of some more and increase the opportiunities for helping the club move forward.

Contact Nigel on : 07944 694801 or farrarend@tiscali.co.uk
CITY EGGHEAD

SA member Huw Pritchard had no reason to dread being harshly judged by city supporters after an impressive display on the BBC2 show, Eggheads, on Tuesday 24th October.

Huw faced the combined forces of the eggheads on his own in the final round and put in a creditable performance - well done Huw!
