Mynydd Next Up for City Reserves
Mynydd Llandegai are the Reserves next opponents at Farrar Road on Saturday and following their midweek win against Mountain Rangers will be looking for their eighth straight league win.
Mynydd currently lie second in the league, five points behind City and have played two more games. They are currently the league's top scorers and with City also amongst the goals this season we could be in for a good game. Get along and give them your support!
This Saturday sees City’s sides continuing the challenge of bringing home the silverware for a third successive year.
City travel to Flint United for a tough game in the Welsh Cup, 2.00pm kick off, and with a big crowd expected supporters are advised to get there early. Supporters can expect a warm welcome at the clubhouse next to the ground to get in the mood for what could be a great cuptie.
For those unable to make it to Flint why not get down to Farrar Road to watch the Reserves take on Bethesda Athletic Reserves in their quest to lift the Kon-x Cup for the third year running. This promising group of youngsters are playing some cracking football and are in good form at the moment so get along and give them your support. Kick Off is at 1.45pm.
City’s Youth team play at Wrexham tonight in the Welsh Cup following their win over Airbus in the previous round. Wrexham, who disposed of Druids in the same round, play in the North West Conference of the Youth Alliance League and currently lie 12th in a league that also hosts the youth sides from Preston NE, Wigan, Walsall and Stockport.
They will be eager to prevent a third cup expert in as many weeks following defeats to Hull in the League Cup and Stalybridge in the FA Youth Cup but they will be encouraged by the home draw with Chester in the league at the weekend and prove a stern test for our free-scoring youngsters.
The kick-off is scheduled for 7.30 so if you can make it get along and give them your support – it could make the difference!
